Castel Chunky Weave Cushions
Defined by its chunky weave and multi-tonal yarn, Castel brings depth and tactile character to layered interiors. Variations in colour move naturally through the woven surface, creating a rich sense of dimension.
The yarn is space-dyed, meaning colour is applied along its length in sections before weaving rather than after. As the yarn works through the weave those sections surface and disappear, so the cushion reads as several related tones at once rather than one flat colour. It is what gives Castel its handmade quality.
The weave itself is deliberately chunky, built at a scale where the structure is visible from across a room. That makes Castel a texture piece: it earns its place next to smooth linen and flat velvet rather than alongside them.
A cotton blend gives it a soft hand feel despite the heavy construction, and a concealed YKK zip keeps the back clean.
