Ravello Fitted Sheet
Ravello fitted sheets are made from aero-finished European linen, a finish that softens the fibre from the first use rather than after seasons of washing.
Linen is spun from flax, a long and unusually strong fibre, which is why linen bedding outlasts cotton and softens rather than wearing thin. The trade-off has always been that new linen feels stiff. Aero-finishing resolves that at the mill, agitating the woven fabric until it relaxes, so the sheet arrives with the hand feel most linen takes a year of washing to reach.
For a fitted sheet in particular, the fibre matters more than anywhere else in the bed: it is the layer against the skin all night. Linen breathes and moves moisture away rather than holding it, which is what keeps it comfortable in warmth where cotton can feel close.
Continuous elastic edging and deep sides with a thick ribbed elastic keep the sheet on the mattress, including deeper mattresses and those with a topper.
Colours run through denim, sage, silver, white, shell, bone, caper and biscuit.
